Below you will find the conditions applicable for all bookings made with Barcelona Comtal Apartments, which are automatically accepted when completing the reservation process. Barcelona Comtal Apartments reserves the right of modifying these regulations, without any prejudice of any right acquired previously.
Prices
The base price of the apartments proportionally depends on the number of people staying per night. The minimum stay is 3 nights, although it may vary according to the dates and the season.
Booking process
In case you're interested in one of our apartments, first you must check if it is available for the selected dates in our website, and then use the online booking system. To guarantee the reservation, and in case of cancellation, the information of your credit card will be required during the process.
Moreover, a prepayment will be requested in advance, by the time of the booking, which amount will vary according to the apartment. This sum will be discounted from the total cost of the reservation. You will receive a confirmation email once the process has been finalized, in which you can find the details about the apartment, such as address, how to get there and other important details.
On the other hand, if it is your preference, you can email us requesting the availability of the apartment of your choice and we will reply within the next 24 hours.
Multiple bookings
Barcelona Comtal Apartments reserves the right to accept the same group of people in more than one apartment, due to possible noise or inconveniences this may cause to neighbors. We appreciate you contacting us before booking.
Damage deposit
Barcelona Comtal Apartments reserves the right to request a damage deposit, which will be refunded on the check-out day. Additionally, we will only keep the credit card information until the end of the stay. Any damage caused to the apartment will be discounted from this amount. If the amount is not enough to cover the damages, the guest will be obliged to pay for the difference.
Credit Card information
In order to reserve any of our apartments, the guest must provide a valid credit card number, Visa or MasterCard, which will be used for the respective prepayment and in case of damage to the apartment during the stay. We discard all the credit card information afterwards.
Booking payment
The balance of the booking must be paid upon arrival in cash euros. It is possible to pay with credit card, but please note that there are additional charges. You can contact Barcelona Comtal Apartments for more information.
Check-in and Check-out
You may verify the check-in and check-out conditions in the description of each apartment.
Cleaning
The day the guest arrives at the apartment, it will be ready for living, cleaned with fresh towels and sheets for all the correspondent number of guests (1 shower and 1 hand towel per person). We don't provide any linen for baby cots.
The final cleaning is included in the price. However, on the exit day, the guest is obliged to leave the apartment in a decent condition, on the contrary, Barcelona Comtal Apartments will be forced to charge extra for the additional cleaning time.
Included services
Barcelona Comtal Apartments is compromised to offer all the services and features specified in the description of each apartment. If these characteristics are not met, the guest has the right to ask for compensation.
Check-in registry
Barcelona Comtal Apartments will register your arrival through a contract with all the guests' information. In the same contract the conditions of the reservation will be stated, which must be fully accomplished by all the guests.
Apartment rules
The following rules are obligatory and its disrespect will imply the evacuation of the apartment without any reimbursement.
No noise is accepted (voice and music) after 9 pm (21hs).
Parties are strictly not allowed.
No meetings in the hall of the main entrance are permitted.
Always make sure the front door is closed.
Shut the windows and the door to the terrace/balcony every time you leave the apartment.
Do not open the door to commercial mail.
It is mandatory to leave the rubbish bags in the adequate bins located in the different streets near the apartment.
It is completely forbidden to smoke inside the apartment. However, you may smoke in those flats with balcony or terraces.
It is necessary to switch lights and air conditioning off every time you leave the apartment.
The use of the apartment is exclusively for temporary housing. The guest compromises to behave in a civic manner and following the basic rules of staying in an apartment. Barcelona Comtal Apartments reserves the right to evacuate the apartment in case of disrespect of any of the previously stated rules without any prejudice to the rights acquired previously.
In case of damages to the apartment caused by the guest, these must be notified immediately to Barcelona Comtal Apartments. The client will be held responsible and will take care of the fixing expenses with the credit card provided during the booking process.
Liabilities
Barcelona Comtal Apartments cannot be held responsible for any damages caused by elements out of its control, as well as for theft/damage to possessions or accidents that result in injuries inside of the apartment.
Cancellation
The conditions for cancellation are especified in the description of each apartment. Any cancellation must be notified via email to info@barcelonacomtalapartments.com which will be confirmed by one of our representatives. If you have made a prepayment, and only if it applies, it will be reimbursed to your credit card. On the contrary, it will be discounted from the cancellation costs
If Barcelona Comtal Apartments is not able to provide the apartment you've reserved, we compromise to offer you with an equal or superior alternative for the same price and in the same area. If the guest is not satisfied with the new option, Barcelona Comtal Apartments will refund the prepayment without any cancellation costs.
